Information evening for students, parents, and guardians

Is your daughter/son interested in IT, computers, and how they work? Would you like to learn more about a promising career in information technology in the Höxter district?

Then we cordially invite you and your daughter/son to our information evening dedicated to the IT specialist apprenticeship!
We want to provide insights into:
• the various fields and specialization options within the profession;
• the duration of the training, content, and prospects during and after the training;
• practical tasks from the everyday life of an IT specialist.

We will also answer any questions you may have. The three participating companies are also happy to accept applications directly for the 2025 training year: #BDE Engineering GmbH, #Optiz Computertechnik, and #vectano GmbH will be present at the information evening.

You will also receive an overview of other available apprenticeships in the Höxter district. The event is free of charge and is aimed at parents and guardians, as well as young people in graduating classes who are pursuing an intermediate school certificate, a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or the Abitur.

The event is organized by the Municipal Coordination Office for the School-to-Work Transition in the Höxter District, with partners including the Höxter Employment Agency, the Höxter District Vocational College, BDE Engineering GmbH, the East Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Bielefeld, Paderborn + Höxter branch, and vectano GmbH.
